walk, fingers automatic
they climb into the bus
filthy metal and plastic
only utilitarian sweaters
iv) snow slush at the curb
swirling black, leap
from the taxi, school
girls in rubber boots
thick neck warmers
v) evening street foods
perched on ice, waiting
for grilled lamb, onions
dim lamps lit, the men
breathe frozen white
