To My Sweetheart~ By Julia Hones

Friend, lover, spouse,
corner of solace,
you are my shell,
my magic thank you,
the heart inside my heart,
the air of my soul,
the sky of my desert.
I swim in your brown eyes
where hope and shared thoughts abide.

Note: this poem has been turned into a song.

Author Bio:

I have read some of your previous poems and they are all good. I am so glad to become one of the readers of your poem. Based on my observation, you are a deep person who is exploring the life now. You really are trying to get to know more about yourself and express the things you wanted and like in the public. Maybe you are experiencing a tragic situation as of now, but I know that you will overcome it soon. Wishing you all the luck!
