To stop and smell the flowers
To see the dew drops glistening on the leaves
To admire the dance of sunlight through the trees
To listen to nature's orchestra conducted by the birds
To be mesmerized by the rippling of water on the lake
For, if you don't
The dew drops will desiccate
The dance will disappear
The flowers will dry and wither
The orchestra will dwindle
The rippling will die down
And all you will be left with
Will be regret for the time that was.
