there are folds
and mysterious pages
she does not allow
to be seen, tiny
corners of her mind
that she keeps 
tucked away.
she is a master, a brilliant
voice, and capable
in ways I will never be.
it is amazing what one
learns through a wife,
a branch to the rest 
of the living world.
