Ready for the kill,
Circled over a school of sardines.
Beyond the black-backed gull,
An old boat stood still,
Waiting for a place in the harbor.
At the top of the hill – in the back -
Rose a lighthouse and a mosque
Who, through their small casements,
Stared at the aquatic scene.
