Stretch their adhesive
Cushioning the wounds
Left by other women.
Band aid women
Continue to absorb
Long after their
Medicated pads
Are saturated
With blood.
Band aid women
Never tear fine hairs
And band aid women
Never leave dirt-clotted outlines
Suggesting where they’ve been.
